I started young at the age of 10 to create rough user interface sketches of applications I dreamed of building. Over the years I have developed my design skills and taught myself how to code applications for iOS and macOS alongside school. As my skills grew I was finally able to start creating my own little apps.
In 2019 I decided to make them available to the world through the Apple App Store. I published my first application for macOS in september 2019: GlanceCal, which has been back then a completely different application.
In 2021 I won the Apple Swift Student Challenge with a Swift Playground about User Experience. You can find the project and its code on GitHub.
I am currently deepening my knowledge with studying "User Experience Design" (Bachelor of Science) in Southern Germany.
In 2019 I started documenting my experiences with developing apps and designing user experiences on my instagram account @henricreates (old name: @henri.makes.apps) and have since then grown a great community. I also have a twitter account @henricreates where I like to exchange thoughts. Follow me on these social media channels if you want to stay up to date about what I'm interested in and what I'm working on.
